What the Webinar is All About

The approach to planning your professional career can be either by design or ad hoc and settling for an ad hoc approach may take you out of the driver’s seat and lead to a disappointing outcome.  This webinar is about providing you a process for planning your career and introducing strategic thinking into the process.

Objectives of Webinar

  • Demonstrate the potential of creating and executing a personal career plan that can be self-stewarded.
  • Reinforce the need to have a personal vision that focuses on fundamental behaviors that lead to improved performance.
  • Demonstrate how to reinforce the personal vision with a stewardable plan that reflects strategic thinking and personal beliefs that can be linked to your execution strategy.
  • Expose the participants to an example of expected professional behaviors.
  • Emphasis the importance of having a “Being in the Arena” mentality.
  • Closeout by providing an example of forward thinking and the potential that comes with it.

Jack Toellner has a BSCE from Texas A&M University w/degree in Civil Engineering, and a Master’s in Public Health from Tulane.  Jack has diversified experience in construction, engineering, SH&E, and management.  He is a retired executive from ExxonMobil w/37+ years of service.  He is a registered P.E. and a Certified Safety Professional.  Jack is a recognized expert in SH&E management planning/ execution and public speaking and has worked in 30+ countries with 100+ clients including multiple government agencies.
